We are The UnPresentables (TUP), an original, hard-working Motor City-style Rock & Blues band founded by Dani Dov (Detroit) and Jacobee (Zurich) and based in Switzerland. Our current line-up includes Jacobee on guitar, Sumy on bass, Herr Heer on drums, and D (from Detroit, ha!) on vocals. The TUP sound is raw, dirty-sweet and always served straight up. Detroit DNA from MC5, Stooges, and Motown runs through our veins. Zurich is the home! Detroit is the heart! Rock & Roll is the soul! The UnPresentables!! TUP – be there or be square !
Our debut CD "UP and DOWN" hits on various contemporary and old music genres, always played in our ever UnPresentable way. Except for one cover tune, "The War is Over" by the late great Phil Ochs, all original tunes are written by Dani Dov and the late great Bryan Medwed, with music composed by J. Frauenfelder and D. Medwed. Special thanks to P. Hasler on the traps, and extra kudos to Kramer in the studio. When possible, always play it loud. It's only Detroit rock and roll! Download and stream the CD "UP and Down". Watch and share our new video "Madhouse"! And stay tuned for our upcoming shows.
